Reflective Writing Workshop

Friday, March 7 from 10 – 11AM in the Library

Please join Caroline Jennings, a Darien mother of two and creative writer, for a one-hour therapeutic writing workshop where participants will discover that as Graham Greene put it, “Writing is a form of therapy.” We will begin with a prompt, spend some time journaling, and then if participants wish, share our writing with one another in an empathetic and warm environment designed to help one another process patterns of grief and begin the art of self-healing.

Wellness From Within

Friday, March 14 from 9:30 – 11AM

Wellness is both physical and mental, and while we cannot control all aspects of our health, prioritizing wellness as we age is a choice.  What we put into our body and how we connect with our inner self matter.  Please join us for an interactive session on small changes to optimize how we fuel our bodies with Whitney Evans, PhD, RD, and how to heal from pain and discomfort through breathwork and mindfulness with Danielle Santoro, a yoga instructor and health coach.
