DCA Thrift Shop

In addition to being a great place to find one-of-a-kind designer clothing and unique items, shopping at thrift stores supports sustainability and our environment. For nearly 100 years, the DCA Thrift Shop has assisted and delighted our community with its donated clothing and household items. The Thrift Shop is run by volunteers and sees over 12,000 customers a year. As part of its community outreach, the Shop hosts a Sustainable Fashion Show every year and has a long tradition of partnering with other non-profits such as Pacific House, Inspirica, Toys for Tots, Person-to-Person and Post 53.

DCA Thrift Shop History

The DCA Thrift Shop was founded in 1931 to supply clothing and food to families in need and offer employment for women during the Depression. Workers washed and mended donated clothing and repaired household articles, which were then sold at very low prices. Today’s Thrift Shop is proud to continue the tradition of helping the community.
