Welcome news! The State of Connecticut plans to increase gathering sizes at commercial venues effective March 19 (assuming continued low COVID infection rates). Indoor capacity will be increased to 50% (capped at 100 people) and outdoor gatherings will be capped at 200 people.

Whether it’s a small gathering or a large formal celebration, the DCA Meadowlands estate is the perfect setting for weddings, parties and corporate meetings, or events. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, our 15,000 square foot, Regency-style mansion is situated on eight acres of property. Photo opportunities abound, including a spectacular formal garden with fountain and colorful flowerbeds. Ranging from a spacious Garden Wing with attached commercial kitchen, to our boardroom or intimate library, all rooms look out to our formal garden, designed by the “Dean of American Women Landscape Architects,” Ellen Biddle Shipman. The property also includes a revitalized, four acre bird sanctuary.

Clients have the ability to choose a caterer who best fits their style. We also have a list of preferred caterers available. Catered events include the use of DCA-owned tables, chairs, china, flatware, and coffee urns (inventory details are available). Only one event is held each day when the entire house is rented.
