MONDAY EVENINGS
Mah Jongg Beginner Class Evening Session (FULL)
Learn to play Mah Jongg!
Our beginner class will introduce you to this exciting, social, competitive game that can be mastered with practice, strategy and a little bit of luck. This rummy-like game is played with a set of tiles based on Chinese characters and symbols. Learn how to assemble the tiles into specific patterns and formulate a hand based on an easy-to-read Mah Jongg card. Invite friends to sign up or find new partners. This class includes (3) 2-hour sessions with an experienced instructor (game sets provided). A minimum of 6 people required for this class. Please note, there will be an additional $15 cost for the 2024 National Mah Jongg League card.
**For best results, it is important that you are able to attend all 3 classes of the session. The first class is mandatory. Please double check your schedules before signing up.**

Mah Jongg Supervised Play Session 1 (REGISTER)
Take your game to the next level! This class is for students who have taken beginner Mah Jongg or have other experience playing the game. Building on their knowledge of the game, participants will learn more defensive, strategic steps towards winning the game, as well as quicker decision-making in choosing hands (which is the most challenging and difficult aspect for most players). Invite friends to sign up or find new partners. This class includes (3) 2-hour sessions with an experienced instructor who will actively supervise play and adress questions. Game sets provided. A minimum of 6 people required for this class.
Please note, participants are required to bring the 2024 National Mah Jongg League card.
