The DCA is a privately-funded organization. We fulfill our mission through the generous support of donors, as well as through membership dues, program fees, rental of our facility, and sales at our Thrift Shop on the Post Road.
We have ongoing needs associated with Meadowlands, our 15,000 square foot, historic home. For example, our parking lot should be equipped with outside lighting, and our hardwood floors are in need of refurbishment. Additional work is required on the bird sanctuary, which we envision not only as a center for conservation, but for education as well – and an asset that the entire community will be able to enjoy. Your contributions also enable the DCA to continue to provide annual scholarships to Darien High School graduates.
