Founded over 60 years ago, the Blue Notes are a group of women who use their voices for a good cause. Singing 4-part harmony, covering music from Big Band to Broadway, the group performs at senior centers and assisted living venues throughout Southern Fairfield County, as well as at the DCA. Their director – Dr. Craig Scott Symons – is also the director of the First Congregational Church of Greenwich choir.
The DCA is proud to have the Blue Notes as a key part of our philanthropic mission.
Current members are:

Upcoming performances
The Blue Notes wrapped up their performances in May and celebrated their successful spring trouping season with a festive luncheon at Cesco’s Trattoria in Darien. They look forward to their end of the year dinner party in June where they gather to perform for their spouses and friends.
Performances will begin again in the fall – stay tuned for details!
Join the Blue Notes!
Are you proud of your singing voice, but rarely use it outside of the shower? Why not join the DCA Blue Notes?
For the 2013-2014 season, rehearsals will begin in September, with performances beginning in late October. The schedule is generally set for Tuesdays from 12:30 to 2:30pm, though performances at times are scheduled outside these hours. There are no fees to join this group, but members must join the DCA ($85 for individual membership). The Blue Notes are a very social group whose members form strong bonds.
