Mom’s Morning In is a fun-filled activity program for toddlers and preschool-age children and their parents/caregivers.
Every week there will be some sort of engaging activity or entertainment. Bring any or all of your children (we welcome infants)! Scroll down to see our schedule of performers and activities.
We meet Friday mornings at 10:00am at the DCA, with the exception of field trips. Reservations are not required. In the event of inclement weather, the DCA follows the Darien School schedule.
All events are $10 per child (excludes Easter Egg Hunt; see below). DCA Members can purchase a Mom’s Morning In “Season Pass,” available for $165 per child ($25 per additional child), which covers all Mom’s Morning In events for that school year.
Mom’s Morning In activities run from September to May each year.

| April 26 | MUSIC FOR AARDVARKS – Jay and Ray will lead us again in the hippest music class around! It is a singing, dancing, musical storytelling, instrumental jam session and more!! (see their fun video here) |
| May 3 | DARIEN POLICE STATION FIELD TRIP – Calling all kids! Come meet Darien’s Finest and get a tour of the NEW police station, the cruisers and even the “lock up”! Meet at the Police station on Hecker Avenue and bring some goodies for our police officer friends to enjoy. |
| May 10 | ZUMBATOMIC – Betty from Bodywise By Betty leads our Mommy & Me dance-fitness program with a yoga cool down at the end of the session. |
| May 17 | DARIEN NATURE CENTER FIELD TRIP – One of our town treasures plays host to our group for a morning filled with activities planned just for us. We’ll meet some animals in the Zoo Room up close and personal and then take a hike with one of the Nature Center naturalists. |
| May 24 | FAREWELL PICNIC AT CHERRY LAWN – Our final gathering of the year. A casual play date at the playground! Bring a treat to share with your friends and enjoy the last event of the year. NO FEE. |
| May 31 | RAINDATE FOR FAREWELL PICNIC – If it rained last week, come for a belated farewell. |
