At the DCA, General Programs range from panel discussions on topical issues, to performances by talented entertainers. In the past we’ve had CIA agents tell their secrets, master classes by prominent musicians, and, most recently, discussions on the Nobel Peace Prize and the presidential election results.
Every year, DCA members are invited to several of these General Programs at no charge.
Director and Chief Curator of The Museum at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT), and Chief Editor of Fashion Theory: The Journal of Dress, Body & Culture, join as she takes us through “Fashion Designers A-Z,” the Collection of The Museum at FIT.

Hear Sandy offer her insider’s view of the hunt for a Soviet spy in the CIA, and to their identification of the “mole” as case officer Aldrich “Rick” Ames, one of the most destructive traitors in American history. This will be a fascinating event!
The collapse of the Imperial Age of Russia will be the fascinating topic of discussion at this upcoming event. The origins of the Romanoff Dynasty; the ascendancy, reign and abdication of Nicholas II, the last Tsar; and the aftermath will all be explored in detail. Numerous archival slides will also be shown.
